EBO SYSTEM
Platform Terms of Use
Effective date: 19 October 2026
1. Agreement and scope
These terms apply to the EBO SYSTEM public website, trial registration, tenant workspaces, web services, and associated applications. A separate signed proposal, order, service agreement, or data-processing agreement may add or replace commercial terms for a customer organisation.
2. Accounts and authorised use
Users must provide accurate registration information, protect credentials, use only accounts assigned to them, and follow their organisation’s permissions and policies. Administrators are responsible for assigning appropriate access and promptly removing access that is no longer required.
3. Trials, subscriptions and fees
Trial access is limited to evaluation and may have restricted modules, storage, support, or duration. Production subscriptions start from R4,000 per month, but the final fee, modules, users, implementation, data work, and service level are confirmed in a written proposal or order.
4. Customer data and lawful processing
The customer organisation controls the information entered into its workspace and is responsible for lawful collection, notices, consent where required, accuracy, retention instructions, user access, and responses to data-subject requests. EBO SYSTEM processes customer data to provide and protect the agreed service.
5. Acceptable use
Users may not misuse the service, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with availability, upload malicious material, violate another person’s rights, use the platform unlawfully, or bypass security and usage controls. Access may be restricted to protect users, data, the platform, or comply with law.
6. Service changes and availability
Features may be improved, replaced, or withdrawn as the platform evolves. Planned maintenance and urgent security work may affect availability. Any specific uptime, support response, backup, recovery, or service-credit commitments must be stated in the applicable signed agreement.
7. Intellectual property
EBO SYSTEM and its platform materials remain the property of their respective owners. Customer organisations retain their rights in customer data. Feedback may be used to improve the service without exposing confidential customer information.
8. Suspension and termination
Access may be suspended for material breach, security risk, unlawful activity, non-payment under an applicable agreement, or at the end of a trial. Data return, retention, and deletion after termination follow the customer agreement, legal requirements, and documented retention process.
9. Contact
Questions about these terms can be submitted through the EBO SYSTEM contact form. For workspace records or access, users should first contact their organisation’s administrator.
